About  Kara of Cousin Belle 

I’ve spent over 18 years inside schools teaching, coaching, leading. I know what it means to carry the weight of systems, family, and expectations while keeping a brave face. I also know what it feels like when that weight finally breaks you open.

Cousin Belle Wellness Center was born from that breaking. It’s named for the matriarchal spirit who walks with me my grandmother  and the women before her, who held babies, land, and secrets in silence. This space is their legacy, reclaimed.

Here, healing isn’t a performance. It’s not quick fixes or pretty affirmations that hide the truth.

It’s ritual, remembrance, and the slow work of coming home to yourself.

I am Kara. mother of five, educator, truth teller, and guide.

My work blends trauma aware practices with ancestral ritual, offering sacred space for women who’ve been silently unraveling.
